Paper Doll Princesses
Every one of the outfits that these dolls are wearing was hand picked by Alivia. In some cases Heidi and I would get an entire outfit on said Princess and Alivia would decide she needed a different dress, had to have a purse or was missing flowers. Future Stylist to Royalty. Please note that Sleeping Beauty on the far right has a pillow stuck to her head.

23 years is a long time
I have known Emily (Schuur) Genz since I was 5. That is a very long time to know a person. Other than my parents and brothers, no one else in my life fits that bill. Basically I ate paste with her, I learned to ride a bike with her, got braces with her, went to slumber parties with her, and I started liking boys with her. You get the picture. She was in my wedding and I in hers, and now we finally got to hang out with our babies. To quote Willie Nelson, and then Dave Matthews ;-)"Ain't it funny how time slips away?"

The happist place on earth
Every once in a while, when we are waiting in the car for one reason or another, I let Jaxon hang out in the front seat. He doesn't see much of this area since he is always strapped in, rear facing, in his seat. As far as he is concerned its better than a playground. He holds onto the back of the seat and dances, bangs on the window and yells at the people walking by, and explores the console all the while, panting like an excited puppy.

Jaxon and the Dragon
According to my brother, this toy won all sorts of baby awards or something. Anyhow, Jaxon finally figured it out and I'm very proud. I'm on vacation this week and getting to spend tons of time, seeing all the amazing things Jaxon does.

I hate to brag but...
For all of you who don't live in NM I won't go on and on and bore you about all the wonderful things that make the Land of Enchantment superior to other places. Like the fact traffic is all but non existent, the winters are mild, with 360 days of sunshine etc. I lived a few other places, but I always come back to how great the "505" is.
But what really reminds me how much I love New Mexico is the Balloon Fiesta. An epidemic that comes every October.
Last night we took Jaxon to the Special Shapes Balloon Glowdeo.
Basically all the non-typically shaped balloons show up, blow up, but don't take off. Instead they wait til sundown and all Glow in the night. Its something to behold.
Jaxon dug it. His eyes were as big as saucers taking in the giant shapes filled with light. He also loved all the people watching.

Old, but Blogworthy
Okay, so this picture is from last Halloween, but I didn't have a blog then. I just got my hands on this and thought it deserved a little "Blog Recognition"
At MAC Halloween is a big deal. A week long ordeal. Different themes and costumes all week. This was our Super Hero's and Villans Day. I was "Super Pregnant"
Also, please note my gangster employee in the bottom corner holding the gun. Hilarious.
