Jaxon does Disneyland

Jaxon was kidnapped/borrowed for the weekend by Grandpa Chip and Grandma Larissa. He was swept away to California for a weekend of fun and adventure with lots of Luskos (Daniel, Levi and Alivia) He spent some quality time with Uncle Levi and his cousin Alivia who he doesn't often see. Of course he got "a little" spoiled by his Grandparents.
Traveling with Jaxon is no small feat. He is the friendliest 2 year old on the planet. He insists on saying "Hi!" to just about everyone he meets, and usually starts up a conversation.
Jaxon visited the ocean for the first time and had a prearranged breakfast at a Disney Hotel with the all the characters. This, is where I was told Daisy Duck took a special liking to Jaxon. So much so, she couldn't be gotten rid of. Below you'll see the little note she wrote to him. I'm pretty sure he had a little crush on her as well as he is still talking about her pretty dress and bow.
Jaxon had an amazing time in California. When he got home, he could not be settled down. Jumping on the bed and he sang over and over, the Pirates of the Carribean song "Yo Ho, Yo Ho, A Pirates Life For Me!!" This continued until about 2am. Must have been the jet lag.

Christmas Eve

After the Christmas Eve service at Calvary, we decided to start a "Clay Family Tradition", and make the hour drive to Santa Fe. We really bundled up for this cold adventure. With Jaxon in the back pack, we treked through the snow up and down Canyon Road and looked at all the luminarias warmed ourselves by the various bon fires and sang Christmas Carols. We snacked on popcorn, toffe and hot chocolate on the ride home.

A Wild Week of Fun

A lot happened last week. So much in fact that I won't go into great detail about much. Levi and Jennie came into town with Alivia and Lenya, Halloween happened, we had lots of great family get togethers, and Nate Heitizig married his fiance Janae. Levi, Daniel and Alivia were all in the wedding party. Then I got really sick and some guy got elected president. That pretty much sums it all up. Here are the pictures to prove it.
